The 2020 class of Agriculture Science Honours students at the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture recently presented the findings from their final projects, many of which were relevant to growers in the vegetable industry.
The Soil Wealth ICP team was in the audience and heard two presentations which provided useful insights for vegetable production. They included:
- Pollinator performance of drone fly, European honey bee and brown blowfly in pollination tents of hybrid carrot seed crops – Hui Jing (Edna) Chong
- Epidemiology and management of powdery mildew (Podosphaera aphani) on strawberry – Anna Mackintosh
Congratulations to the Class of 2020 on their incredible achievements.
