This fact sheet shares the results of a field trial in north-west Tasmania using several treatments to raise pH in an acidic soil and a cost benefit analysis.
While the trial focuses on pasture, the findings are relevant for vegetable producers who also have livestock in their production system. Any changes made to pasture will also impact vegetables in the rotation.
