Soil Wealth ICP team member Carl Larsen was on-site at the Victorian Vegetable Innovation Days (VicVID) on 28 April to deliver two Facebook livestreams of the agrichemical and seed field trial results alongside event organisers and agronomists Stuart Grigg and Connor Steel.
The livestreams were first delivered during the 2020 East Gippsland Vegetable Innovation Days as a way of communicating key insights from the seed and agrichemical field trials for those who couldn’t attend the event in person.
At VicVID 2023, the agrichemical field trial livestream focused on a range of new products tested on crops including leafy vegetables and brassicas, and examined their performance in managing pests and diseases as well as crop growth.
Meanwhile, the seed trial update highlighted the soil management and plant health benefits of the diverse vegetable varieties on show and discussed the points of difference they can offer to growers in the field, including impacts on yield, leaf size and overall quality.

Note: We experienced very windy conditions and minor technical difficulties during the livestreams so please be patient when rewatching the videos.
