From 12-13 August, we were excited to kick off the Vegetable Crop Nutrition Masterclass for 2020.

Over two days, 36 vegetable growers and agronomists across Australia took part in an interactive event which built on their existing knowledge and helped to improve their crop nutrition programs on-farm, particularly during difficult growing conditions.

While the masterclass was originally planned to be held face to face in Adelaide, due to recent restrictions we transformed the event into an interactive online format. This allowed more participants and guest presenters from around the country to attend, with participants representing the majority of vegetable crops grown in Australia.

The masterclass successfully provided participants with the knowledge and tools to better monitor their vegetable crops, get a clearer understanding of plant health and adjust their crop nutrition programs seasonally to crop-specific or site-specific needs. This included the development of their own nutrition management program.
