This four-module online course provides a practical introduction to Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and its potential in sustainable farm management.
Through expert guided videos, visuals, and case studies, learners will explore the core principals of IPM. Topics include monitoring techniques, the basics of identifying key pests and beneficial insects, cultural and biological control strategies, and the responsible use of selective chemical options.
By the end of the course, learners will be familiar with the IPM approach and how it can promote on-farm biodiversity, suppress pest populations and strengthen overall crop health. Learners will also be introduced to simple record-keeping practices and know where to access further resources and support to explore IPM in more depth.
